To commemorate the milestone of HKBU’s 70th anniversary in 2026, the University launched the “HKBU 70th Anniversary Logo and Slogan Design Competition” with the aim to inspire creativity, bring the HKBU community and its friends together, showcase the HKBU spirit, and celebrate its long tradition of education excellence on this momentous occasion.

The Competition’s judging panel was led by Mr Paul Poon, Deputy Chairman of the Council and the Court of HKBU​, and comprised representatives of the University community. Based on criteria such as creativity, originality and relevance, the judging panel selected one Grand Award winner and two finalists respectively for Logo Design and Slogan Design.
